But sometimes that artistic spark gets
squelched.  We draw too many faces that don't look anything like their model, mold too many pots that fall apart, draw too many lines that aren't straight.   Still, we long to be artists.


And lately, through the wonder of digital art programs,  that hope has been re-awakened.  Programs like Photoshop and Painter have provided a means for us to explore creativity with a safety net - to texture and blend and paint and print.

And for some of us that's led to wanting even more.  We want to feel a brush in our hands, to mix on our palettes the same cadmium reds, raw siennas and burnt umbers that the masters used in their work.  We want to have paint on our hands and get lost in our work as we embellish our digital prints.

So, here's hoping that this site can provide some of the
techniques, resources and encouragement to help you
follow your Cadmium Dreams.
